With love for Finnabair + TUTORIAL

Recently, I welcomed the new year with my project, and it's already February and Valentine's Day is approaching. I thought it was a great excuse to decorate a heart-shaped base.

At the beginning, I put a layer of white gesso, and after drying, I glued rice paper. I used Soft Matte Gel for this. After drying, I painted the surface with Clear Gesso and then I started arranging the composition.

To decorate my heart, I chose Finnabair metal embelishments, such as decorative flourishes, rustic hearts and great cabochons with letters, which I arranged in the word 'love'. I added various laces and dry sticks to the composition.

I lightly painted the whole project with liquid acrylic paint in Burnt Sienna color, and then brightened the edges with white gesso. At the end I added a beautiful metallic wax in a silver shade and a paste with glitter particles, resembling ice crystals.

Niedawno moim projektem witałam nowy rok, a już luty i zbliżają się Walentynki. Pomyślałam, że to świetny pretekst, żeby udekorować bazę w kształcie serca.

Na początek położyłam warstwę białego gesso, a po wysuszeniu nakleiłam papier ryżowy. Użyłam do tego Soft Matte Gel. Po wysuszeniu powietrznię pomalowałam Clear Gesso i następnie zabrałam się za układanie kompozycji.

Do dekorowania mojego serce wybrałam metalowe dodatki Finnabair, takie jak dekoracyjne zawijasy, rustykalne serca i świetne kaboszony z literkami, które ułożyłam w wyraz love. Do kompozycji dodałam różne koronki i suche patyczki.

Całość delikatnie pomalowałam liquid acrylic paint w kolorze Burnt Sienna, a następnie brzegi rozjaśniłam białym gesso. Na koniec dodałam jeszcze piękny metaliczny wosk w srebrnym odcieniu oraz pastę z drobinkami brokatu, przypominającą kryształki lodu.
