Fly Awawy for Finnabair + TUTORIAL

I always enjoy vintage projects. This time I decorated the frame with metal elements from Finnabair and HDF additions, which I secured with a white gesso. At the beginning, using the modeling paste, I applied a pattern from one of the templates that you can find in Mixed Media Place. Then I started arranging the compositions. I stuck everything on with gel.

After drying, I started coloring. For this I chose a wonderful set of 'Old Walls' pastes, which in addition to beautiful, delicate colors give structure. As if they had grains of sand embedded in them. The effect is very interesting. I blended the colors with each other, but to get color depth, I also added liquid acrylic paints. Then, after drying it, I whitened it intensively and splashed it with white gesso in combination with water.

Projekty w stylu vintage sprawiają mi zawsze mnóstwo radości. Tym razem udekorowałam ramkę z metalowymi elementami Finn i dodatkami HDF, które zabezpieczyłam białym gesso. Na początku za pomocą pasty modelującej nałożyłam wzór z jednego z szablonów, które znajdziecie w Mixed Media Place. Następnie zajęłam się układaniem kompozycji. Wszystko naklejałam gelem. 

Po wysuszeniu zajęłam się kolorowaniem. Do tego wybrałam cudowny zestaw past 'Old Walls', które oprócz pięknych, delikatnych kolorów dają strukturę. Tak jakby miały zatopione w sobie ziarenka piasku. Efekt jest bardzo ciekawy. Zblendowałam kolory między sobą, ale żeby uzyskać głębię koloru dodałam jeszcze farby z serii liquid acrylic. Intensywne kolory podkreśliły trochę wszelkie nierówności. Następnie po wysuszeniu całość intensywnie wybieliłam i pochlapałam białym gesso w połączeniu z wodą.
